This past week was really different. We went to Seoul, Korea for a Mission President's Seminar.

A Mission is Like a Mini-Life
They say that a mission is symbolic of life and we experienced some big milestones this week.
Coming into the mission is like a birth. There were 16, plus a bonus--a returning elder.
They are partnered with a trainer--a dad or mom figure that shows them the way.
This is my favorite part--a totally sweet time when I'm always impressed with the inspiration that was received to pair the two together.
As with life, there is lots of teaching and training.
And of course, food! LOTS of food!
The missionary learns, grows, becomes a trainer (generation upon generation), grows wiser and finally returns home (dies).
We had 10 deaths. Yes, it was sad! But also very wonderful to see what they had become.
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant(s)."
