The Adventure Begins!


We said goodbye to our home on Thursday and headed to Utah for training.

Russ' siblings were all able to join us for our setting apart blessings.

Russ was set apart by Elder Gary E. Stevenson, an Apostle. Jeni was set apart by Elder Gerrit W. Gong, of the Presidency of the Seventy (not pictured).

Role reversal:  Our children dropped US off at the MTC.
Our children had fun at the Family History Center in SLC.  It looks like they beat us to Sapporo.

    Elder Gong was my stake president when I was at BYU. Such a kind, gentle, and humble man. I'm glad that you were able to meet with him.
